Blue Aspirations' Floating LiDAR has Passed the OWA Stage 2 Certification with Excellent Results

Blue Aspirations deployed BA-FLS-NX5 Floating LiDAR System off the coast of Dundee, Scotland, in March 2023, installed with Windcube V2 and ZX 300M. Each LiDAR has been pre-calibrated with lEC standard compliant Met Mast. Recently, BA-FLS-NX5 has been certified by Oldbaum and been reviewed by DNV. lt shows both LiDARs reach the Best Practice of OWA Stage 2. The system's data showcases outstanding performance by comparing with the Met Mast compliant to lEC standard. Using BA-FLS-NX5 to collect wind data will support the process of bank financing for the clients.

The BA-FLS-NX5 has exceptional power supply capability, which could support both Windcube V2 and ZX 300M. The LiDARs with different technical types will help Blue Aspirations to satisfy requirements of different projects in future.

Since its inception, Blue Aspiration has envisioned a global market presence. BA-FLS-NX5 can be easily disassembled into parts and loaded in containers for sea transportation. Reliability is the critical point in the design philosophy, so double LiDARs will be the default configuration for every project to increase data availability.
Blue Aspirations is committed to the offshore wind industry.
